5.4 Replacement Spark Plugs #'s
Hey Y'all,
I went to Motorcraft.com to reference the correct part numbers for my 5.4 '01, and it gives me 3 numbers. Now, the first 7 characters are the same, I'm curious if the additional characters on the end mean the plug is modified or such. Here are the numbers: (my 5.4 is engine code "L")
AGFS22W
AGFS22WMF4
AGFS22WM
Does anyone know if these 3 are different, or did Ford just slap 3 different part numbers on the same plug to designate between retail and factory? Any insight on this would be appreciated as I've found a couple of web sites with good deals on the plugs (my dealer wanted $7.10/plug, hence I started looking elsewhere), but I wanted to verify this before I puchased.
