Does anyone know how I can hack my 2001 S-Crew to allow the cruise control to engage at a lower speed? The bottom end is 27 MPH and I'd like to be able to use it at 10 or 15. FYI the top end is higher than 100 MPH...

 

It may be possible, but it would take some talking and a hookup at the Ford dealer to maybe reprogram your ecm to that. I know on semi's we can set it as low as 6 mph as the bottom limit and 102 on the top end.

 

talk to mike troyer on here,you might be able to get a custom burnt chip that'll do it.i know you can take off the top speed limiter with a chip so you should be able to.i wanted to do that too for goin through school zones and everything like that

 

Drop it into first gear, works pretty well for school zones.
