O2 sensor locations

I've got a 97 F150 5.4 reporting a code P0133, which is O2 Sensor ckt slow response, bank 1, sensor 1. Can anyone tell me where the bank 1 sensor 1 is located? Is it something I can reach and replace myself?

Bank 1 should be the rightside (passenger) sensor. It is the sensor in front of the cat converter. The sensors behind the cats is the cat monitor.

O2 sensor job done

Thanks. Got it done. Quite a pain getting tools into tight places, but by disconnecting and moving enough stuff I was able to get it done in an afternoon. No more CE light. The Ford dealer wanted more than twice the cost of the O2 sensor just to read the codes. Thank goodness for Autozone.

You didn't get the O2 sensor wrench from AutoZone? In my area you can put down a $15 deposit for the wrench, and it makes replacing those sensors much easier. You usually have to ask them for it though. When you're done, you take the wrench back and get your deposit.
