260 is what ford says but there are many variables that play into what is actualy on the road cause automatic tranny's take more power from the engine to operate about 8 more HP and 7 torque and then rear end size makes a difference. a smaller rear end the engine must work harder to turn those wheels to u are loosing power but gaining top end speed. and with a big rear end more RPM per turn of the wheel but u got gawdly torque but lower top end.

Cool

HI!... The "99" - "03" 5.4's have 260H.P (flywheel) and 350FT/LBS of TQ (flywheel). They average about 195 RWH.P. The 4R70-W and drivetrain will cost you 65H.P. With 4x4 it will be 70H.P. The 4R-100 and drivetrain will cost you 69H.P. With a 4x4 it will be 74H.P If you have a 4x2 manual it will cost you 35H.P. A 4x4 with manual will be 40H.P . The transfer case is usually good for a 5H.P suck. These #'s have been proven time and time again.

Does the 4R-100 in the Lightning differ from a "regular" F150 ?

I have read many Lightning posts (and have my own dyno sheet as well) where the loss through the drivetrain is around 40 - 45 HP. Mine dyno'd at 334 @ the rear wheels, 100% stock and some of the other Lightning owners stated they thought my #'s were a little low.

Sometimes I wonder how accurate all these dynos are...

No flame intended, just a honest question.
