Will the ones from AutoZone work fine?

If so, do you know the P/N?

Yeah I've used ones from Autozone before, sorry but don't have the P/N. It comes up correctly when they look it up.

Alright. I'll get to that some other time.

Got the gaskets on today, and I went ahead and shot some WD-40 into the IAC.

For now it seems to be running very good. Drove around for 30 minutes or so around town (lots of construction/stop lights/etc) and it idles very smooth now, and it's also down to just under 700 RPM at idle as well.

Thanks

new pcv valve will help control the amount of oil going in your T/B.

Is there a way to tell if I really need to replace it?

I'll probably do it over the summer, since I want to tackle the sparkplugs over break as well.

clean your mass air flow sensor. easy to do and good chance that is your problem. do a search for the how to. as for testing the pcv, just pull it out and give it a shake. if you hear the ball rattling inside then the pcv is still fine. if any doubt, replacemetns are just a few bucks. but i'd only buy motorcraft pcv replacemetn.

Johngs,
Remove the pcv and blow thru it in both directions, you should only be able to blow freely in one direction, if not, then replace it. The valve at Autozone if I remember correctly was $2.49
