Pls help identify this motor

It's a 302 in an 86 F150 XLT Lariat. Is this thing EFI, or what is it? All I know is that it doesn't look like a TBI to me. Thanks.

It's the 3rd pic in this webshots album- http://community.webshots.com/album/135848081QZYgRq

The engine pictured is an early EFI 302. The engine was installed in F150's beginning in 1985. I had a 1985 F150 with this engine and it was very strong.

Thanks man, I thought it must be EFI but I had never heard of EFI motors until the early 90s. Ford must have been ahead of the game with this one.

central port was a good design but they found the can do so much more on the control side with multiport injection.

it all comes down to getting better emissions.
