OK MYBE MY K&N AIR FILTER DID NOT GIVE ME AN EXTRA 10 HP BUT I THOUGT AND FELT TO BE SOME IMPROVEMENT. SO MOVEING ON WHO HAS A 99 5.4 STOCK EVERY THING AND ADDED A AIR FORCE ON INTAKE OR ANY OTHER BRAND INTAKE???AND HAS NOTICED A BIG IMPROVEMENT???

why not try removing the silencer in the air box, basically gutting it.. I also did the air filter canaster mod, basically cut the top right half off to open it up and make it breath better so it doesn't just take air from that small opening in the fender which is restrictive, I did actually notice a little difference with these mods. I found complete directions to these mods in "Technical articles.". Not sure if an air force one intake would breath better or not.

 

i have an 02 5.4, and i put the AiRaid FIPK on mine and noticed a huge difference (then again, i forgot to plug the MAF back in at first :o). that was the first mod i did, and i would recommend it. not only could i feel an increase in power, but i could also HEAR it when it opened up at WOT, sounded good!

Welcome to the Internet 5.4MAN. CAPITAL LETTERS is considered YELLING and offends many people. Just capitalize the first letter in a sentence and use small letters for the rest of the sentence and you should be just fine.
