this really stinks. 2001 f150 s/c i was waxing yesterday and noticed the paint flaking off the bottom of the drives side door on the inside lipand its rusted. This truck is NOT driven in the winter and has 20K miles,this is unfrickenbelievable. I still have warranty till 7/04 is this covered

Yeah that should be covered. I work at a ford dealership bodyshop and they have a digital camera and they will take a pic and send it to Ford for warranty approvel.

 

Both of my doors on my 2001 show this, but the pass. side is worse. What would they do to remedy it? Thanks!!!

 

going to fix it under warranty,repaint. I bet it will come back again,I cant believe this 20K miles and no winter driving.Thanks Ford

 

Try fighting a little harder, and you might get new doors? I did, with 2k left on my 6/75 extended warranty. Best part was losing the door cracks, which have not returned as of three years later. Good luck!!,,,,98
