low idel

Just brought my 2004 F150 lariat home today has 250 miles on it and it seems to have a low idol ,iknow its not broken in yet Any one have any info its running about 500rpm and maybe 600rpm in gear with brake on no accessories running. Any help or info would be appreciated! seems like its missing just a bit?

Not broken in yet. read your owners manual. it should idle at about 600 rpm.

They all feel like they "stumble" a little when idling. You are also prolly still running on the dealers really cheap gas.

oh and welcome to the board!!

Thanks glad I found this board!!
I went back to the dealer and drove another unit and it ran like a bat out of hell, we sending this one back. Something is wrong with it even he agrees, the truck is totally beautiful but runs like chit. Could be in the program module but the clunk in the tranny and the enemic running of the motor tells me i dont want this particular unit. This SUX!!
