Check engine! what to look for
Hi,
My check engine light came on couple days ago; I reset the computer but came back again.
What should I be looking for?
I replaced fuse position #3 (25A) which was blown, dont know what this fuse is for, reset computer again but check engine came back after driving a while.

Its almost impossible to say without getting scanned,,, but if you have a 5.4 like my 97 expy,, here are the two things which have thrown codes in mine so far.
Broken vacuume lines behind the battery, caused egr flow codes.
Rotten boot for the pcv valve behind the throttle body,,, caused lean codes.
These two are fairly common,, cheap to fix, good place to start.
