okay, how do you get the filter off?

okay, how do you get the filter off?
I have an 2002 f-150 FX4 offroad, it looks impossible to get the oil filter off. Is there a trick to this? I can't see any angle to do it.

TURN THE STEERING WHEEL TO THE LEFT UNTIL IT LOCKS THEN U CAN TAKE THE OIL FILTER OFF AND SNAKE IT PAST THE CONTROL ARM. ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNLESS U DONT

Look into a remote oil filter adapter. it is well worth is for the $ and will save you time, a headache, and busted knuckles!
