OK, I searched for an answer to this, so don't say I didn't try, I am not in the habit of posting repeated questions, BUT. I have a 1983 F150 300 4.9l. I have to get the exhaust manifold gasket changed and am thinking of putting on Hedman headers. The headers are a reasonable price (to me). Will there be any problems with fit? Any mods? If so I'll forget the whole thing. I do not have a CAT on my truck.

Will these headers really make that big of a difference? Everything else on the engine is bone stock, its a daily driver, just thought for the price of the headers and since the manifold is coming off anyway I would do this.

What do you guys think?
