Question Spits and Sputters when cold Please help!

Hello all, I test all of your knowledge! I have a 95 f-150 5.0 that runs terrible in the early morning ( Southern California ) it spits sputters and kocks like the the timing is out. Once the truck gets warm 15-20 min. the truck runs fine. It never did this before. I had the truck detailed and they pressure washed the motor and I'm afraid they fried a sensor or somthing. Not sure where to begin to look. A freind who works for ford thinks it may be the TPS (Throttle position sensor). Please! any information you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Have your O2 sensors checked out. They need to be replaced anyway every 65-70k miles. Also, consider having the fuel injectors cleaned with an isolation type cleaning system. The isolation type calls for the disconnection of the fuel supply while the engine runs solely from an aerosol can filled with a concentrated injector cleaner. It's definitely worth the hundred or so bucks do have done. It made a noticable difference in my '97 F-150 with the 4.6L. Good luck!
