Bypass Oil Filter

Has anybody put on a Motor Guard Filter on their F150? If so do you have any comments on this oil bypass system?

Well since no one has responded.

I have no experience with the Motorguard. I know that it works. Any bypass filteration is a step ahead of anything to help your vehicle last longer, and perform better.

Of coarse I use the Amsoil by-pass setup. I have the dual mount on my F150 and the single filter(like the motorguard) on my VW Jetta.

The only things I don't like about it, are the hoses/connections and how often you have to change the element.

Some will argue about filteration effeciency of the TP filters over other by-pass filters, but at that level you really are splitting hears.

From all that I have researched, Most all by-pass filters will filter at 3 microns or less absolute. Some filters last longer than others. So have less expensive elements but must need changed more often. Some elements are less messy to change. So there are advantages and dis advantages to all.

If you are seriously looking at by-pass filters I would also check out oilguard, Amsoil, NTZ, Harvard, puradyn and others.

If you need links to those vendors let me know, you can find them all on google.
