Cleaning MAS ??

Cleaning MAS ??

I read that you can use brake cleaner to clean the MAS is this true and what is the best thing to clean it with i did a search and not much came up on the subject.

Brake cleaner would work, however alcohol and a Q-Tip would work the same. Would be more gentile on the sensor too. Hope this helps.

Ditto on Hymis's reply and it's something you will find in your old lady's bathroom anyway. Be gentle and tread lightly on those wires.

I used intake cleaner that was sensor safe,,, oil from the K&N gets on the wires and collects dirt,, the weight on the wires gives a false reading that shows up as "lean fuel left or right bank" Reset your puter after you have cleaned it,,, worked great for me
