I went to AutoZone to buy a Gatorback belt today not to much to ask, but they have no belts at all listed for the 5.4 Ford 2002 none, zip, nothing. He told me they don't make any belts for any new Fords yet because they don't need to be replaced. Any way I promptly left figuring I would see what advanced auto which is a crossed the street had, curiosity got the best of me, and to my surprise they don't have and can not get any belts for 2002 f150's, he said you better go to the dealer, I just can’t believe there are no belts for these damm trucks.. does any know the part # for the Gatorback maybe they make it for another year but it fits the 02 5.4…

 

call ford parts house for ford part # of a 01 5.4. Compare to the part # ford gives you for the 02 5.4 and if they are the same you can probably crossreference the 01 part # to a gatorback. Worth a shot.

 

I would just tell them I wanted a 99 inch belt. Or one for a 2000 or whatever they had for the 5.4 Of course you could measure the old one and know for sure what I am thinking works.
