Winter Air intake applications
If I were to change my air intake to a AF1, what happens in winter where we see -20 to -40 degrees celsius
Air Force 1 Intake

Air Force 1 Intake
i have a 98 4.6L with the AF1 installed. the newer vehicles do not have the warm air colectors that the older vehicles had. they get hot exhaust gases admitted to the air stream via the EGR valve.
besides the air collector ducting use to close around the engines operating temp. so the engine would get cold air to run on. cold air being better than warm air for fuel mixture and compression.
i've never had my truck in those temps with the AF1 on but i do not see any draw backs other than maybe being a little more cold natured. you could E-mail www.truckperformence.com and ask thier tech support guy's. that's were i got my AF1.
