Greetings from the Tbird forums. A friend of mine just upgraded his '03 F150 5.4 with a Granatelli MAF, and he has no need for his old one. It looks suspiciously like the Mustang MAF, and most of the part number is identical. Tbird guys love the 'stang MAFs, so I was wondering if any of you guys know whether yours are identical in terms of electronics/programming to the Mustangs. If they're the same, I'll snag it from him. Anybody know?

 

Not sure about how they are programmed, but you might want to do a visual inspection to see if the connections are the same (electronics-plug end, tubing, wires). If they are, I don't see why they would not work. Ask your buddy to let you put it on and fire away. Someone else may be able to help you out more technically. You could also call Grantelli and ask them if they are the same. They should know.
