Amsoil air fiter questions!!!

I saw something a while back about an air filter made by amsoil that was comparable to the K&N air filter. I think it was also supposed to be high flow. I looked on the Amsoil site but it difficult to find out what vehicles they fit. Does anyone know if they make a high flow air filter for a 2001 F-150 with a 4.6 V8? Any info about it and how I could get one would be great.

Thanks, Sean

They just come out with the "cone" design. We've been asking for them since 1997. Amsoil revamped their filter line now call it: Flowzair with a better frame material and sealing material. It still used the same type of 2 stage Foam media with the high tack oil.

Here is the reply from my question to Amsoi tech services:

Yes, for all applications where the Hastings AF484 cone type filter is used, the new Flowzair TS191 is now available.

Thank You,

Hope this helps

Thanks Msparks
Would this work with a cold air intake like say a K&N tube or Air Force One or something like that. I want to get a cold air intake but I am a little hesitant about using a K&N Fiter as I have heard and seen some bad results with dirt getting by. One other thing. How do I go about purchasing a filter?

Thanks, Sean

This is a stock replacement filter only, it won't work with any special setup at this time.

As far as purchasing, it would be best to contact an Amsoil dealer for pricing and so forth.
