PIP in Distributor??

PIP in Distributor??
Anyone know how common it is for these to go.... should i get the part or just put in an entire distributor... 1995 f150 5.0 165K

Pretty common for them to fail. Pain in the *** to change it out because you need to pull the dist. and remove drive gear.
