What about intake noise with these intake kits? I don't mind a little noise, but don't care for the droning. Are any quieter than others? opinions please. Thanks.

 

put on AF1 a few weeks back. hum/whistle is loud to me, although i have not heard others to compare. you only hear it at idle though. it goes away when you accel. not a big deal, but kind of annoying.

 

mine is actually pretty quiet.. a little can be heard if u listen for it but if u got the windows up u aint gonna hear it if u listen for it or not. But i do have the 4.6 a bigger engine might make a slight difference in sound. I had the same fear u did.. but i am so glad i got my AF1 u will love it.

 

Thanks for the posts. I am going to check out as many as I can. May just go with the old K&N. Guess I could always turn up the radio. Does it seem to make any driving difference? Thanks again.
