Angry Spark plugs

I have a leek from the condenser that is foulling out the #4 spark plug. I remember reading about someone else who had this problem... but I have been unable to find it. How expensive would it be to just replace the hose or will some oher solution work.

I'm assuming you're talking about the hose going to the air conditioning condensor that is dripping the cold water on the plug wire. If that's the case, I would just wrap it with some pipe insulation. Make sure you get some that will take the heat of the engine compartment though. That will at least make the water drip somewhere else.

I don't think it is your condensor hose. It is very very common problem with the #4 getting dripped on by a heater hose just above the plug.

Look directly above the plug and you should see a rubber hose connected to a aluminum hose. If it has a factory/oem style "Pinch" clamp replace it with a screw type hose clamp. If it already has a screw type loosen it and push the rubber hose further onto the aluminum hose then tighten.

good luck

Thanks HCQM u have the right hose... it was my misconception...
U think by tightening it down that it will work, instead of having to do the expensive replacement. I'll try it and let you know thanks again...
