97 4.6 v8 windsor 118,000 miles
OBD code = p0401 exhaust flow
replaced DPFE sensor...code still present
replaced EGR valve...code still present
cleaned vacuum hoses....code still present

any thoughts would be appreciated

 

Search the Engine forum under P0401 and you'll find a few posts about cleaning the throttle body EGR ports. That is most likely the issue here.

Also: Did you clear the code from the computer's memory after each part was replaced, only to find the code came back soon after?
