Glad you found it your problem.,,,, I had to go to 3 ford dealer to find the Pcv valve and hose.. Parts man said they are failing like crazy..

I used a long flat blade screwdriver ,, about 2 feet long. You can reach back and catch the edge of the boot and push it right off. Just dont get crazy and start hammering on it. LOL
