Unusual Help Request- Serious

Your help I requested. My nephew who was 8 years old at the time, awoke one morning about 1.5 years ago and had a stomach ache. He was kept home from school that morning and several hours later as the pain became worse he was rushed to a trauma 1 center several hours later where it was determined he had a twisted intestine and was bleeding internally.

During the past 1.5 years, he has had 9 surgeries to repair the internal organ, but all failed, requiring complete removal of his intestines. Placed on a donor list, he received his new intestines about 4 weeks ago. He came through the surgery fine. Within 2 days he was completely off pain medication, sitting up in bed wanting to go home! About a week ago while at home, he began running a high fever, was rushed to the hospital where it was determined that he was experiencing full rejection. The strongest anti-immune drugs were administered at the maximum dosage immediately, he was placed in a “Bubble Room” to safeguard against illness and he has improved. By Wednesday this week, endoscopic procedure will be performed to see if the medication is successful.

The favor I ask is this, our entire family is almost paralyzed waiting and I have never asked for anything like this before, but a prayer to whom ever you believe in on behave of my nephew is requested.

Thank you for your understanding and help,

Jeff

I have never had relatives in a situation like this, but a few friends of mine have acutally been on death beds from accidents.

We now spend weekends together just like the next set of friends. They is power in prayer, and your family will be in my prayers.

May God be with you, and watching over your nephew.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition,
with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God,
which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Phillipians 4:6-7

I've spent the last three years in and out of hospitals with serioiusly ill relatives. It's no fun, and drains the life out the family. Keep the faith, keep the prayers going, and try to keep reminding yourself that we, on the sidelines, are the Care-givers, not the Cure-givers. May the Lord bless you, and keep you!

I said a prayer to Sister Marie Léonie Paridis. She has come through for me and now it is her turn to do it for you. Good luck and Godbless.
