Engine Hesitating

I just degreased my engine (4.6) with degreaser then a rinse....I also cleaned the MAF sensor due to dust build up. I used a dry Q tip to take the dust of the MAF...any way I went for a drive and at low speed my engine was real suggish and hesitating, that part cleared up and now im noticing it in the higher sppeds above 50 MPH....Still has power just the engine bucks every now and then...do you guys think I might have gotten something wet I shouldnt have or did I mess up the MAF by wiping the dust off it???

lets clarify here,

I washed the engine now it runs like poop. It idles fine...but under acceleration it stumbles and feels like the motor is not keeping up with the throttle. I had also taken the MAF out and cleaned it. So any any way I checked everything, vacum hose's and electrical connections, everything looks normal just like before I washed the motor. Its been several hours since I washed it and it still does the bucking on accel...I still have all the power just some bucking to go with it....any Ideas.....Come on I know you have some.
