Just bought an 88 F250 4WD. I cannot locate on the engine size anywhere and it does not have an owners manual with it. What size engines were made for the 1988 F250s and where on the block can I look to find the info?

Check the 8th digit of the VIN:

Y = 4.9L 300cid inline 6 cylinder gasoline
N = 5.0L 302 V-8 gas
H = 5.8L 351 V-8 gas
G = 7.5L 460 V-8 gas
M = 7.3L 445 V-8 diesel
