Got a ODBII P0442 small evap leak code. Found that the plastic lining in the filler neck was cracked where the gas nozzle rests. That causes a leak in the pressurized gas tank system thus the CEL. The filler neck assembly is $170 plus tax. The small amount of fumes leaking is hardly going to damage the enivornment. My question - what harm is that doing to my truck?

By the way - found a cheap ODBII code reader from EBay for $50 compared to $175 at Autozone. It read the code and reset the computer.
