I have been going thru the Ebay area that has allthe CD's for sale and if you go thur the pages you can find CD's that are NOT copies but in fact are master cd's you can tell usaully by the rpice the really good ones tend to be in the 49.00 range. All the copies seem to be selling for around 5-10.00

I`ve bought two of them off Ebay. The one for my truck is a green colored cd that has the writing in the silver of the cd below. The markings have a Ford logo on the top and Workshop Information Truck below that.
On the right side middle it says" Ford customer service division Copyright 1999 Ford Motor Company FCS-12551-00t11" and on the left is printed January 2000 version 11.0. The bottom of the cd in larger letters it says. 2000-2001.
Its the same cd my dealer has as I`ve asked about them through the sales manager. The label is actually etched into the cd so its not a decal laid on there. It came in a vinyl sleeved holder when I got it and I can open all of the items inside as well as the other vehicles it has listed. Its a good cd on this one.
Paid 29.00 for this one.
The other cd for our Focus is definately a copy of some sort. It also looked different from what the picture on Ebay showed. For 7.00 I wasnt going to raise a stink about it but some of the features dont work which I found out months later when I really started looking at it. It has a white label with a ford logo on the top and 2000 car on the bottom. There are no other markings on it. The label has even started peeling from the edges. I got what I paid for on this one....
I guess some are the real thing while others are bootlegged copies. Its a buyer beware thing on Ebay for these.
