Question Help with aligning the timimg chain on 5.4

I have the crank at TDC, the right cam gear at about 11 o'clock and the left cam gear at 12 o'clock. Now where I have some questions is what next.
I lined up the two marked links with the lh cam gear notch and the crank gear mark and placed the left chain on. I lined up the two marks on the right chain with the cam gear, but there is no mark on the crank gear for a reference. How do I line this up. I looked in the book and disk and it is very vaugue. Please help.

The crank gear should have a slot. The 1997 manual, 1st year of production, instructs you to aling the mark on the chain with the slot on the Crank gear.

The crank gear does have a slot. It is located on the picture at about the 7 o'clock position. The left chain will line up perfectly, however, I do not know wher to place the right chain. As you can see from the picture the chain is aligned at the right cam gear, but the slot in the cam gear will not line up with the mark at the bottom of the chain.

Are you sure the RH crank gear is not on backwards? Did you position the inner crankshaft sprocket with the long hub facing outward and position the outer camshaft sprocket and the RH timing chain with the long hub of the sprocket facing inward.
