new 3 valve specs?

A friend showed me this form he had from ford with new engine power specs, not sure how valid they are

4.6 3v 270hp / 300 ft/lbs
5.4 3v SC 380hp / 450 ft/lbs
5.4 3v SC 425hp / 475 ft/lbs
5.4 3v 300hp / 365 ft/lbs
6.8 3v 345hp / 450 ft/lbs

Im tired and didnt include the rpms for each, I should probably scan it at work so you can see all the other specs that are greek to me.

So far the numbers are reassuring. The rpm figures would be good to have too. From what I have read the torque curve is supposed to be in a very usable range. Hopefully the peak hp numbers aren't too high in the rev range, like a second before the rev limiter.

I don't know if Ford is planning to win these "horsepower wars". I've learned that the peak numbers don't tell the whole story. I think the new Triton engines will deliver the power that we want without horsepower and torque numbers that surpass all others. If Ford can put the power where we can use it then I don't need a big number to know that I have a powerful truck.

Sometimes I think that Ford is listening to us. I hope that's true!

I look forward to seeing what ever anyone has on the new 3V motors.
