amsoil
just got my first oil change done, I am using 5W-20 amsoil synthetic, does anyone know if the use of synthetic is against ford warranty

Synthetic oil does not void the warranty, you are using the proper grade and a very good brand. I prefer either Royal Purple, Amsoil or Mobil One, in that order.

thanks for the info I have always been a synthetic man, even my mini van made by manufacturer not to be mentioned runs castrol synthetic.
