Can you do this swap with an XL?

I currently don't have a tach, but would love to have one.

I have a 1999 Flairside XL with no tach, so if I trade out the cluster for one with a Tach it will work? What cluster did you use, what was it off of?

Thanks!

97-98 only, I can't speak for the 99 because I believe it has LED odometer, and embedded key for theft.
