Tired of your plain old tail light lenses?
Not finding any good looking lenses in the magazines or catalogs?

MOD YOURS!!! Here's some pics of how I did mine:





Basically you 're limited by only your own imagination. Simply clean them off with 409 or other such cleaner, mask off the areas you want un-painted, then scuff them with 00 steel wool, then shoot them with what ever color you want. I chose flat black, simply because every other darn thing on the truck is that color except the paint. I hear that there's a paint now that is simply a tinted clear (very closely resembles the dark transparent covers made by GTS) specifically for this kind of application.

That looks cool. Do you have any pics at night possibly with both lights?

 

Not yet, but I will take one tonight and post it.

I'm kinda curious to see what they'll look like myself.
(I just finished them this morning, and it doesn't get dark here until almost 8:30)
