O2 sensor and cat question

Is there a off-road/Hi-flow x or h pipe setup for the 6. What would happen if you were to remove the rear set of cats. I know there is are O2 sensors on there, but could a MIL eliminator work, or how about cutting a hole in the replacement pipe and weld a nut on there and thread the O2 sensor back in. How would this effect the CPU. Just curious, have been working on a custom exhaust setup and would like a little extra room under there.

The second set of cats/O2 sensors are used by the OBD-II system to veryify that the 1st pass EEC-V A/F corrections were successful, and to ensure that the EEC hasn't allowed an adaptive trim correction to let the engine release amounts of pollutants beyond the programmed limits.

SO-

Unless you axe the 1st set of cats, too, as in a full open off-road exhaust system, then you must run both sets together.

Hope this helps. . .
