V8 Swap
OK, guys, i know this has been beaten to death, but has anyone attemped putting a windsor motor in a 97+ truck yet?
i helped a friend with a '95 mustang 3.8 --> 302 swap, and it was a piece of cake as far as engine swaps go, even easier than putting a 383 SBC into a trans am that originally had a 305 SBC, which should have been a piece of cake, but ended up having us beating engine mounts with hammers and stuff.
anyway, if anybody has heard of anything, let me know. when i do it i plan on doing a carbed motor, so computer stuff isnt going to be a problem; does anyone know if the accessory brackets from the 4.2 will bolt on a 302 or 351?
