Reseting Codes For Check Engine
ON MY 1998 F-150 I JUST DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE FOR 20 MINS. This resets the check engine light and resets your computor. This is good for reajusting your truck to new driving conditions i.e. summer to winter, new driver, etc.
