I've got a '98 F150 with a 4.2L and I've been looking to upgrade the ignition system. However, I've found little results from MSD and Mallory.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Incidentally, I did find an ignition upgrade thru DirectHits.com, but I'm not sure if it's worth $209 plus shipping for a capacitor, plugs, and wires - feedback on this would be helpful also!

Jacobs electronics has one. I think it is a bit pricey though.

i got the jacobs ignition ... did'nt really see any gains .but it was a pain to find a good place to mount the unit. it's a good well made piece though . i'd stick w/ the stock one unless u are having problems .
