Ok every one.....

Why do you put all of these mods on your truck to improve preformance, and then not drive it in some what of a "Lead foot" Fashion?!?!?!?!?

I think its not fair.... Drive under 2500 RPMs what fun would that be, especially in a hilly town like mine...

I got the same milage before i put all of the mods on the truck?!

Im thinking of putting in Full synthetics, in the engine, im hopeing that would help..

On a side note, i noticed while putting on the Airforce 1, the entrance to manifold was a litlle on the Tarish side, im wondering if i should clean that up, question is....How?!
And is that the problem??

And all you guys getting this 360 miles to a tank, you are not telling us somthing, or your nose is getting real big, real fast..
no offense, just a little disapointed

Oh and i just rolled over 19000 miles on the truck, thats plenty good and still new, but worn in.

 

375 miles on one take. that is driving 95mph all the way from lubbock to dallas. not sure what the RPM's were at though. didn't ever get them real high though. i hope your 360 wasn't on the highway. i'd feel bad then.

 

I have seen 360 miles once in my 2001 4X4 4.2 5 speed/3.55 gears. That was mainly interstate driving and my truck is all stock. When I have mixed driving, the most I see is 300 miles and the low fuel light comes on. I now put larger tires on it and the odometer is off I assume because the speedometer is slow by 3-5 mph depending on how fast you go and I cant check it. I live in WV and we have several hills on the interstate which obviously leads to more fuel comsumption than someone on flat ground. And Red Flareside2000(I think that was your name), do you really have a 5 speed automatic? I didnt know the F150's had this available. I knew I didnt want an automatic with the V6 so I didnt even check out the tranny type.

 

It siad that on the window when i bought it and it has overdrive, so im asuming it has 5 gears, i can hear all of them if i try, i berraly ever hear 4rth, unless i turn the od off..
