I will rebuild my engine with the internals on the list when I pay off my truck... so thats 59 more months. NX nos will be on 3rd quarter next year.

I just scored a deal on a used set of heads, upper and lower intake from a 99 4.2 for $400 and they will be here later this week. Hopefully by april I will have them on my truck which will include the extrude honing of the upper intake, port/polish lower intake. head port/polish w/5 angle valve, exhaust port/polished, performance valve springs, 1.73 rockers, and the new ev8 hollow valves. This alone is going to get me ~70hp crank. however I will have to have a shop do the install and with new valve seals, gaskets, cost to have all work done on parts, and labor its going to cost me ~$2300. But trust me... its worth it!. about the same as a charger on 6lbs. when i eventually add a charger it will add even more with all the airflow improvements.

I'm saving 300 bucks a month for so with the money i already got in the bank it will only take me till april to do so... I will buy parts as i get the money... right now I got the intakes and heads coming to me... I will buy the rockers, springs, and valves next... it will be a slow process, but notso much to where it will take 3 years just to get this part done. June MAX... thats if i run into more speeding tickets .

My goal is going to have all this done with the charger in 4 years from this very day.

...this means 4 more years with parents HAHA!

get a low intersest rate credit card, buy a supercharger, pay it off in one year and be enjoying it now! worst case , the engine blows, a supercharger could be removed in a day, and you never touch a bolt on the engine.
how much easier does it get?

nah... I'm going to progress in steps... and i would like to pay for it outright... and not borrow from credit cards that would ultimately put me in the hole...(could )

actually crash! i cannot have the charger without first replacing my plastic upper intake. i have thought about my mods for a long time and have decided to take this route... yes, it may not be the quickest way to get fast, but it's a conservative way... and doing the heads and intakes will be a great way of getting 55+hp and will only add MORE of what the charger does by itself.
