Randy - I deleted the other thread you started on this topic and the post you had on this in yet another thread. Please don't start multiple threats or create multiple posts on a common topic. It leads to confusing responses that can waste your time and cost you money. Roadie has given you an answer you could take to the bank.

I have many "forum" friends who use Walmart Supertech conventional oil in all their vehicles. So, my recommendation is if money is tight, use a brand name conventional, yes, even Supertech. If you have money to waste use high dollar "synthetic" if it makes you happy.
I've found that Motorcraft oil is a tiny bit more than Supertech. But, Supertech will work.
Yes, like glc said, don't use the orange FRAM filter. For the price, a Motorcraft filter is a good deal.

Motorcraft oil is better than Supertech - it's a synthetic blend and Supertech is conventional. Motorcraft is probably the best oil for the money.

^^ Very true.
I use it in all my lawn mowers. I got one Briggs that has always run MC 5w20... gosh, since 2001... I just put that engine on a junkyard deck. Must have over 2000 hours on it, and all I do is change the plug, air filter, valve adjustment every couple years, and lube job with Motorcraft 5w20 every year.
