Thanks for recommending us, KingRanchCoy!

Welcome to the forum, azwatson!

We do monitor it, and you can also send us a private message. In fact, please send over a PM with your VIN, and I'll do some research on my end. Which dealer have you been working with?

KingRanch, I made a mistake when I quoted 23. I did get that on my first trip to Nashville. I pulled the window sticker out so I could PM Ford Service and realized that it stated 16 and 22 with average of 18. I am still nowhere near that. have the second trip remembering from the day I picked up my truck and it is now down to 15.9. Had 49000 on the clock when I bought. I now have ~53000.

I pulled all 3 Map Sensors today and gave them a good cleaning with CRC MAF cleaner and my truck is back to running like a brand new one. Its got the pep back and fuel mileage is back.

The Map Sensor on the Air Filter lid was still clean and new looking. The 2nd sensor on the intake piping right before the Throttle body and the 3rd sensor on the top of the intake was dirty/oily.

Here is a few pics of locations for anyone interested in doing this. After seeing mine i would recommend cleaning them every 20 or 25k miles.

1st Sensor on Air Filter Lid. I didn't take the sensor off just sprayed it with the lid off.

Attachment 3257

2nd sensor with 2 Torx Bit Screws

Attachment 3258

3rd Sensor with 1 8 MM bolt on driver side of truck

Attachment 3259
Do you just remove the sensors and spray them down? My truck is doing the same things you described above.
