I agree with both of you guys, however, I just don't want to see V8's disappear. I will always own a V8 even if it has to be just my truck. A commuter car is the way to go for DD purposes. I want great mpg is a daily, the trucks I am happy with how they are. If it goes up, super, but I will only drive a V8 gas truck or diesel powered (4,6 or 8cyl).

How Ford snuck a 2015 F-150 past everyone at the Baja 1000

STOCK 2.7, ran the race without missing a beat, THEN it was driven back to Detroit.

I've evolved into a smaller, less intrusive government kind of guy, so the government mandating our behavior is something I very much oppose. I can't do a damn thing about it, other than vote for RINOs, so.....

I wish that this technology was market driven, but people don't seem interested in choosing to spend less on fuel. Even when the government, at all levels, reaches it's dirty hands into the mix with onerous taxes.

I think that Ford is doing a great job appeasing their masters, the government. In the process we get some pretty cool options.

If so many people are so concerned about the choices they have, they might want to try to make better choices at the ballot box.
