Dropping an 2005 4.2L into my 1998...Need help!

First of all its an extended cab or 3rd door model F150, automatic. I was told I may need to reuse my old intake, is this true? Also, other than that, what other issues could I run into? Thanks for any help!

The throttle on the 2005 engine is drive-by-wire, you need to swap it out with your cable-driven TB. I think that is what your source was referring to when he said you need to swap the intake out. Other than that, I think everything else is fine.

I'm not sure, I've never looked at a NBS TB, but I'm sure the intakes are the same.
