Yup.
I have my heavy duty set for farm equipment, tires, etc
Just didn't think to bring my set with the small sockets, metrics, etc.

I had enough to do the spark plugs yesterday (had to buy an 8mm).
Probably should have bought a cheap set yesterday also.

Only having 2,200 miles on your truck (CAC) intercooler contamination most likely wouldn't be the case but it was beginning to sound like it. The EcoBoost engine is notorious for water contamination in the (CAC) intercooler. They have been known to have as much as a quart drained in some cases. First draining the CAC is critical then a simple solution is a catch can system that will scrub PCV vapors and keep the water, sulfuric acid and other contaminates out of the engine and (CAC) intercooler. The shudder Dog Lady has been experiencing usually occurs when the turbos are at boost and inhale the water that may have accumulated in the (CAC) intercooler. To the spark plugs it's like trying to light a candle underwater and the ECU puts the vehicle into "limp mode". Other than the issue I've described, tuning may also be the cause. Hope this helps someone in the future, feel free to PM with any questions, I'm happy to offer advice.

Not really sure where you read 2,200 miles-
I just turned 70k - I bought this thing to work, not a lawn ornament

Thanks for your input about the CAC- that does make me wonder a bit.

New update below-

New update from Lincoln Nebraska

I changed my spark plugs on Christmas eve white trash style in the Autozone parking lot because I was seeking some immediate feedback per KingRanch and thelariat02
Had one last shutdown/ CEL about 1000 feet later.

Dealer cleared the code today (Webb Ford in Indiana).
They had no further luck with diagnostics, no further codes.
Test drive went well with no further issues.
I hooked up my trailer and drove off at about 10am.
Just got to my hotel in Lincoln NE at 8.30 pm CST

No further problems, but no real good explanation for the problems.
The only real work done was the PCM reprogram and new spark plugs- seems odd to throw the P2112 code.

I feel questionable about the service process but I guess things worked out in the end.
I still have some reservations about the throttle body and also learning about the CAC issues, and now the coking on the back of the intake valves near the EGR.

Thanks for everyone's help and inputs about the TB, CAC, spark plugs, etc.
I'll be in touch if I have any further issues.

Be safe out there and happy new year!

Not really sure where you read 2,200 miles-
Being that you hijacked an existing thread rather than starting your own, I'm assuming this member was replying to a post made by someone else.

Yes I'm new here-
Is it customary to start a new thread for the same problem/ symptoms?
Seems more efficient to get it all on the same place.
Please advise

broke down again

Made it about 700 miles yesterday, 350 miles today.
Broke down at 11 am MST in Ogallala NE.

Same symptoms- power loss, service engine wrench, shut down.
Restarted on the highway. Same problem all over again.
Limped 10 miles to Wolf Ford in Ogallala NE.

CEL P2112 diagnosed 30 minutes before they closed at Noon on Saturday.

I did manage to get a call into Ford customer service and created a case, but of course the regional rep is off for the weekend until Monday.

It doesn't matter a whole lot whether you start a new thread or continue an existing one. A case can be made for either one, so you're fine. I am really sorry off your problems. That has to be exhausting.

Hopefully they will do the right thing and just put a TB on it and be done. Instead of just clearing the code like the last dealership did.

CEL P2112 acceleration problems

This guy was thinking signal from the acceleration pedal - Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) i assume?

I'm getting tired of being stuck broken down-
Seems like a pretty broad code, lots of "poke-and-hope" guessing going on here.

I'm kinda surprised nobody else here has experienced this yet.

still broken down P2112

That didn't go well.

The new computer came in at about 2.15pm MST this afternoon.

They installed a new computer & reflashed/ re-programmed today.
The mechanic test-drove, service manager test-drove, I test drove.
About 100 miles between the 3 of us.
I bought a very late lunch at about 3.30pm & re-hooked my trailer.

Truck stalled out immediately as I turned out of their lot.
3 more "wrench", and check engine lights as I circled back.

We connected the computer and found the fault only showed up "under load"
They finally agreed that the replacement throttle body with about 10k miles has failed/ out of spec.
It was only 1% out of spec when empty and would rarely trigger a "wrench" or CEL code.
Under load with a small trailer (bumper airstream trailer - 16ft 3500# trailer) - wrench/ CEL is almost immediate.
Throttle body fails by 15-20% out of spec.
Example-
Desired input is 46 degree angle
Response is about 25-30 degree angle hence 16-21 degrees off the desired angle.
(if you're unfamiliar- think about angle of tilt for air intake. 0 degrees is closed, 90 degrees is full open, wide open throttle WOT)

They are stripping a part of a new truck tomorrow because of the New Year and they want to get me fixed and out of their shop.
(I want to get out of Nebraska - nothing against this place - just not where I'm supposed to be right now)

I'm meeting them at 7.45am.
We'll test-drive with the laptop hooked up and trailer hooked.
1 more "wrench" / CEL as I went back to the hotel for the 4th night.

Please, please, please be the right fix.

Finally resolved P2112

at 8am on New Years Eve - we put in the new throttle body from a 2014 F150 on their lot.

Test drove the truck with the trailer-
Everything seemed good.

Hooked up the laptop and test drove again - monitoring the throttle body (TB), MAF, MAP and TPS.
No problems.

Seems like the "new" throttle body installed back on Thanksgiving failed after only about 10k miles.
The first dealer (Webb Ford, Schererville IN) was impossibly reluctant to replace the TB as it was a "new part". It was "just replaced" - could't be bad already.
The next dealer, Wolf Ford, Ogallala NE was reluctant but somewhat more cooperative. They re-checked wiring harness, PCM, TPS, accelerator pedal and finally replaced the TB after we finally watched the throttle body failing and "snapping closed" or not properly responding to accelerator pedal inputs.

I finally made it out of Nebraska.
Refueled in Laramie Wyoming- new check engine light.

Truck seemed to run ok but not quite perfect.
I had a suspicion this was related to the turbo as I had a P0299 code a few months ago - it seemed to "go away" after some extended driving.

I got this new code checked today here in Cali-
P0299 code

New appointment for the dealer on Monday.
Now I need to fly back to NY to get back to work.

We'll see how this goes.
