Need help!!

Hi everyone! I'm new here in the forum, have 97 4.2L, ?? Is can I swap 4.2 for 4.6 or 5.4 and have it bolt on motor mounts? Or is the major modificactions needed?

It will bolt on the motor mounts, but you will also have to change the transmission. The V-6 and V-8 have different bell housing bolt patterns. You will also need a V-8 ECU and wiring harness.
