Ecoboost High Speed Shudder + Check engine light blinking. Help!
Check the inter cooler, there is an update. They are getting water in them and then blowing the water into the spark plugs and taking them out. I have a 2011 and it is constantly doing it. Every week I am changing plugs or coils.dealer can't figure out how to fix it. If someone knows let me know
The US started an economic war with Japan first by cutting them off of their oil supply then they attacked the US. I think that the US would do the same to China if they tried to destroy the US with an economic attack by dumping a trillion worth of bonds onto the markets and killing the purchasing power of the dollar. Don't know how an F150 forum went here but I bought a Ford because they didn't take the bail outs, but I have driven Nissans for my last 2 trucks both traded in for $5000 with 300k+ and both combined had less problems and check engine lights than my 1yr old 50k Ford has had thankfully I'm still in warranty. Love driving the F150 when its running well but if the problems continue on I will be going back to the japanese vehicles. BTW whats with Fords worst in the industry vehicle warranties? 60,000 km in Canada ????
On the OP saga, talked to couple of buddies recently and they are still getting the run around with the EB problems. New CAC has not resolved anything.

Details of Fix?
Do you know what the "Fix" was they did and have you noticed any change in gas milage?
Brought mine to shop after experiencing the same problems and was told they were changing cac, catalytic converter, and "other parts".
City MPG has been aroun 12.5 taking it easy. Best I ever got on hwy was 18 and that was holding at 55

If you have the 3.73 rear end, that mileage is about where it should be. Unfortunately that is the "hype" of the ecoboost engine. The better mileage comes from the none towing rear ends such as a 3.31 and 3.55. 17-18 highway mileage is about what my EB with max tow package was getting before it went drastically south on me. All this being said, you will probably notice slightly better towing mpg, but not anything drastic... towing mileage will also depend on the load.
My '12 FX4 has the 3.73 rear end and can easily hit 18-21MPG on the freeway at 65-70mph.
However, rush hour driving just kills all of that and brings me down to 15-16mpg.
Lifetime avg is 15.7mpg currently.

So I went back to the dealer to get a print out of the service. They state they did TSB 12-10-19. replace Intercooler, 2 nuts - adusting screw, 4 pins - trim, and 319 w (I assume it is the deflector).
I'm not saying Japan was right or wrong, but I do think it was not right for us to kill close to 140,000 people with one bomb. Depending on the reports or stats you look at it ranges from 90,000-140,000 people just from one bomb. The point is yes that probably stopped the war dead in it's tracks, but how many of those killed were innocent people not involved with the military? That would literally be like nuking Odessa and Midland Texas combined. I don't care what your reasoning behind why we did it is, it was wrong to do so and there is a reason there is a major push to get rid of these weapons due to the lingering problems with radiation.
Yes some money does goto Japan from the trucks, but some of Ford's money goes elsewhere as well. Ford has 60% american made parts, Tundra has 80%. So money is spent here for parts and components that are bought from domestic suppliers. Those parts and components are used here to build vehicles that are sold here, and the people that build them are paid wages that they spend here and bank here.
Your right attacking and killing people we should be ashamed as well. It's not a one sided coin, we both have red in our ledgers. Our country is doomed because the idiots in charge can't balance a pocketbook and make the hard decisions due to political reasons.

Second, here are the rankings for most American parts for 2012 as reported by NHTSA.
Is there a link to the TSB? I had the 2nd one done back in March.
