Question Air Force 1, Airaid, Volant FIPK??

I am interested in getting a FIPK for my V6 and was wondering if anybody knew which FIPK is better to get on the V6 truck. I did a search and saw mention that the Air Force 1 added more horsepower than the Airaid, and couldn't find too much info on the Volant. Any thoughts on any of these products would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Sparks,

Yes, in our opinion, the Air Force One has them all beat hands down. It makes more power than any other unit, as it still uses the cold air inlet from the fender and also has a venturi designed to accelerate that airflow. Designed by jet aircraft veterans, they have used that same basic technology and applied it to making the best airbox elimination kit.

If you'd like to go voer the details, etc. feel free to give us a call.

Mike, have you ever had experience with the volant? It looks like the best setup, to me at least. You say the Air Force 1 still pulls cold air. You mean through the end portion of the filter right?

I got the volante for my truck. It was very easy install.good solid mounting points.very long tube puts the filter up against fender.got better gas mileage and better throttle response.Bought from truck performance for 205.00 all together.Very happy with it.But wish the filter was opened end since it fits up against the fender wall opening.
