Exclamation Glasspack installed on V-6

Last weekend I installed a glasspack on my V-6 and I love the sound and slightly added power. I took a hacksaw about 4 inches in front of the stock muffler and clamped on the glasspack. I then added a short spool piece with clamps after the glasspack and used my original tail pipe. It has a rumble but it isn't too loud at all. On the highway you know the exhaust is there but it is not overly loud. The best thing about this mod is the cost total about $20.

BTW - What kind of clamps did you use? That is for the glasspack.

I was running a glass pack but I took it off and it sound good. I cut the pipe at the old glass pack and left the cats in.

At idle it sounds like a small V8 and the it get quiter as you give gas.

Wink

I used standard 2 1/2" exhaust clamps purchased at the auto parts store. They go over the flared ends of the glasspack.

I'll try to get a picture of it later this week
