Power Steering Issue!? Are My Tires Too Wide..?

Hello all, lately i've been noticing on occasion that when I turn my wheel a significant amount in a stopped or slightly moving position my RPM's will drop by about 200 for a split second then the computer compensates for the dip and the RPM's will jump to idle..? What gives? This doesn't happen all the time, i'd say 25-35% of the time, but it has me thinking if i'm stressing my power-steering pump too much with my wheel/tire combination (305/40-22)! Give me some opinions on the matter, Thanks!

That is completely normal. Mine has done this since I've bought it.
